Redskins fall short against Cowboys, 33-30
The Washington Redskins fell behind early, rallied back but fell short in a 33-30 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
Maybe Mike Shanahan isn’t so dumb after all, as quarterback Rex Grossman played very well in the loss.
Grossman finished with 322 yards passing and four touchdowns in helping the Redskins overcome a huge deficit.
It’s also important to note, however, that he did toss two costly interceptions to help Dallas build their big lead.
Give the Redskins credit for refusing to quit, but they need to find a way to play more consistently on both sides of the ball.
